On 3rd November, 1801, Vincenzo Bellini, who is known for Bel Canto, was born in Sicily. Bel Canto means "beautiful singing" in Italian, and he influenced not only operatic works of Wagner or other composers, but instrumental ones of Chopin and Liszt.
